Jayaruh #148

This is Jayaruh #148: Dark Chocolate. It is made of pheasant wood and has the Maggard black synthetic knot. I finished it today at the request of its new owner. He also wanted to adopt JR#72 which is what he called White Chocolate.

Here are #72 and #148 together: White Chocolate and Dark Chocolate. They are headed to New York tomorrow.

Jayaruh #72

The Seventies Begin

These are the first three of the Jayaruh 70s. JR#70 is made of Wenge and oak, while JR#71 and #72 are both made of pine. Today, I finished branding the handles and painted them in with black enamel. Now they are ready to have the knots set. JR#70 has the Maggard 22mm synthetic while the other two have 19mm synthetics from Virginia Shaving.

Update: Knots set with silicone.

Update:

I decided to replace the synthetic knot in #70 with a silvertip badger.
