Another fine shave today with the VDH Luxury Shave Soap. The Semogue 1305 boar brush face lathered for two passes and touch ups with the Merkur 37c slant razor and Bluebird  Hi-Stainless Platinum blade. It was a near BBS shave. A cold water rinse followed by Thayers wH and Pinaud Clubman AS left me clean, smooth, and refreshed.

I tried something new today. After washing my face with the Dove Men's Face Wash, I applied the Col. Conk Amber Shave Soap directly to my face. I had put the soap into an empty push-up deodorant container. It worked great. I wiped it on and then face lathered with the Frank Shaving Finest badger. I did two light passes and touch ups with the Merkur 37c slant for a near BBS. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Cucumber WH and FD Old Spice AS. I'm feeling clean and refreshed.

The Col. Conk lime and Parker pure badger brush prepared my beard for a great shave. I am back with the Merkur 37c today with the Bluebird Hi-Stainless Platinum blade. Two passes with a very light touch left me clean and near BBS. I finished off with a cold water rinse followed by Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel and Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS. I palm stropped the blade for another day.

The Parker pure badger brush face-lathered the Col. Conk Bay Rum to provide two passes and clean-up for the Gillette Fat-handled tech. This was the ninth shave for the Bluebird Hi-stainless platinum blade, and I must say it has done the job. After another near BBS shave, I am retiring this blade. I could probably get a few more shaves out of it, but I want to leave on good terms with the Bluebirds. I finished off this great shave with Thayers Cucumber WH and Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS. I am clean, I am smooth, and I am refreshed.

Two passes and touch-ups on the neck and jawline with the Gillette Fat-handled tech and the Bluebird Hi-stainless blade left me with a BBS shave. Two passes and touch-ups on the neck left me with a near BBS shave. I finished off with Thayers Cucumber WH and Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS. I am clean, refreshed and happy.

I did a two pass shave with the KMF Cool Mint Moisture Shave. I face-lathered with the Parker pure badger brush. This was shave number six with the Bluebird Hi-Stainless Platinum blade. The Gillette Fat-handled Tech came through again. It is such an easy razor to use. I finished off this near BBS shave with Thayers Cucumber WH and Pinaud Clubman AS.

A very nice shave today started with the Dove Men's Face Wash. I applied some Rise Shaving Cream and a pre-shave followed by a hot face cloth to open the pores. The Frank Shaving finest badger face-lathered the Van Der Hagen Deluxe shave soap for two passes and a clean-up on the neck. This was the fifth shave with the Bluebird blade in the Gillette Fat-handled tech. I ended it off with a cold water rinse followed by Thayers Cucumber WH and Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS. I got a near BBS shave.

Finished off with Thayers Cucumber WH and Pinaud Clubman AS. This was my second shave with the Bluebird, and I am happy so far. This may turn out to be a really good blade for me.

The Semogue 1305 brush did an excellent job on face-lathering the Col. Conk lime shave soap. This is my first shave with a Bluebird (made in Turkey), and I really liked it. We will see how long it will last. As always, feeling clean and refreshed.
