Jayaruh #22 Gets a New Knot

It has been a long time since I made the #22 handle (September 18). I got this Plisson knot in a trade and decided to put it in this handle. It is a 22mm knot, so why not put it in #22? It came out of a plastic handle and had a metal collar that I had to remove. This knot is very soft, and I am looking forward to taking it on its first Cackalacky shave.

The Jayaruh #22 was started back in September, but has not gotten its knot as of yet. Right now, it is the only Jayaruh handle without a knot. It has a hole for a 22mm knot. It is made of red oak that was sent to me by Ed Kennedy back in August. This handle has been sitting around since September without a knot. Today, December 14, I put a Plisson type synthetic knot in it.

Now it is complete.
