Shave of the Day - 2/6

Dove Men's Face Wash
Williams Mug Shaving Soap
Parker Pure Badger
RiMei Three Piece
Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Stainless (3)
CWR
Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel
Aqua Velva Ice Blue

It was a pretty good shave today. The Williams face lathered well with the Parker pure badger. The RiMei three piece with the Gillette 7OC blade did the job in two passes and some touch ups. The RiMei is a very mild razor. It is almost impossible to cut or nick yourself, so it took a little more effort to get a pretty good shave as opposed to an excellent shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Cucumber WH and Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS. Feeling good and refreshed. I'll probably save the RiMei for travel.

Shave of the Day - 2/5

Dove Men's Face Wash
Van Der Hagen Deluxe Shave Soap
Semogue 1305 Boar Brush
RiMei Stainless Steel (first shave)
Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Stainless (2)
CWR
Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel
Pinaud Clubman AS

This was my first shave with the RiMei razor. The Van Der Hagen Deluxe shave soap face lathered very well with the Semogue 1305 boar brush. Two passes and touch ups with the RiMei and a Gillette 7OC blade left me clean and smooth. This razor is very mild, but it did the job. A cold water rinse followed by Thayers Cucumber WH and Pinaud Clubman AS was a good finish to a fine shave. I like the handle on this razor, but the head may be too mild for my use.

RiMei Three Piece

This pretty little three piece razor came in the mail today, a gift from a gentleman on The Shave Den forum. It is made in China, but appears to be a well made razor. It weighs in at 1.23 oz. and has a nice feel.

Update: February 5
This is a very mild razor. It got the job done. It just took more passes than I am accustomed to doing. It has a nice weight to it: not too light and not too heavy. The handle is a nice length, and the grip makes it easy to hold and to maneuver.
