I started with the cold water rinse. The Williams lathered well with the Jayaruh #424. I did one quick pass and touch-ups with the GEM Frankenskeene razor with a Personna Gem PTSE Single Edge Blade. After a cold water rinse, I finished with Brut After Shave. I am now clean, smooth, and refreshed.

This week I am just changing the razor. The razor I call Frankenskeene. It is the base of a Damaskeene razor with a wooden handle I made taking after a Darwin handle. This was my first attempt at making a Darwin type handle with wood.

I started with the cold water rinse. The Williams lathered well with the Jayaruh #424. I did one quick pass and touch-ups with the GEM Frankenskeene razor with a Personna Gem PTSE Single Edge Blade. After a cold water rinse, I finished with Brut After Shave. I am now clean, smooth, and refreshed.

Frankenskeene Razor with Custom Handle

 I  have used this razor with modern Gem blades, a vintage Damaskeene Blade, and a Sha-Ve-Zee Blue Back Blade. Today I thought I would try a couple of my vintage wedge blades in it. They look good, and I will be doing a week with this Frankenskeene Razor configuration.

Frankenskeene Razor

This Frankenrazor does not need a top cap. It is the base of a Gem Damaskeene razor with a wooden handle I made based on the Darwin handle. Together, they make "The Frankenskeene Razor." It will hold a blade without a cap. I have been shaving with it using a Sha-Vee-Zee Blue Back blade.

This was the second shave with this Sha-Ve-Zee SE blade. I dried it and belly stropped it after the shave. I will be using this blade all week. It was a very smooth shave.
