Kampfe/Star Lather Catcher
Star Wedge/ Treet CS

I did the first pass with the Kampfe/Star Lather Catcher razor with a Star Wedge blade and boy was that blade dull. I ended up putting a Treet CS blade in and finished with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

This was my first shave with the Maggard V3A head. It was advertised as aggressive, so I treated it like a Gillette Old Type. There were no issues, just a clean close shave. Nice.

Jayaruh #356

The first pictures are after I finished this birds eye maple handle. I dry fitted this synthetic horse for the pictures. I never set it permanently.

Update: May 2, 2019

After reading about a fellow shaver's musings, I decided to take #356 and drill the hole deeper to accept an Omega #49 knot leaving a loft of about 50mm. He was wanting a dense boar with lots of backbone at about 50mm.
