Box 42 for Cobra Razors

Mike, a shaving friend in Louisiana, gifted me these two razors. I decided these razors needed a nice case to live in, so today turned out to be pretty enough to start the case.

King Cobra
With metal handle, 136g
With black handle, 105g

Cobra Classic
100g

I built the case with wood that I had on hand. Here it is after I had installed the hardware and lined the inside. Next, I will stain and finish the box. That will happen tomorrow, the Good Lord willing.

Boxes 39 and 40

I cut out and glued two boxes on Saturday. After clamping them up I let them set until today, Monday. So, today, I finished building the boxes and put the hardware on them. Here they are.

Next, I created the insides so they would accommodate two triceratops razors.

I stained and sealed both boxes the same color.

Next, I finished the boxes with polycrylic.

Finally, I finished off the insides of both boxes with black and red felt. I only have one triceratops razor, so I did a little magic to look like I have two.

Box 39

Box 40

I have two red and two black triceratops coming in the mail. One set will go to Mike in Louisiana.

 Update: 24 Dec 2020

The red and black Triceratops have arrived. Here are two of them in Box 40. It is going to Mike in Louisiana.

Here is Box 39 with my Christmas shave. I mixed my green one with a red one for a Christmas theme shave.

Box #38 for TNNSER

I just finished this box for my TNNSER 3D. I mixed the black cap and green handle for this TNNSER, so I thought I'd do the same for the box. So, the base is lined with black to contrast the green, and the lid is lined with green.

Box #36

I polished up my Gillette Sheraton, and decided that it deserved its own case. I had been thinking about this style for a while, and decided to go for it. The lid is made from three different woods glued together.
