Jayaruh #149

This is Jayaruh #149. It is made of pheasant wood in a beehive style. It has a Maggard two-band synthetic for a knot. It is going to Japan tomorrow. It will be my first brush to go to Japan.

New Knots for Dark Chocolate Handles

Today my knots came in, and I made pictures of each handle with the two-band Maggard synthetic, the black Maggard synthetic, and a boar.

Branding of #148-50

Today, I did a light sanding, opened the holes a bit to fit the knot, numbered the handles, and put the last coat of polycrylic on them. After they dry, they should be ready for their new knots. I only have one on hand right now. Two are on the way.

I made this handle with pheasant wood. No intermediate pictures. Next I will put a clear finish on it and then set it with a new knot: probably the Omega boar.
