I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Cremo Cooling Shaving Soap doesn't face-lather well, but I used the Jayaruh #30 silvertip badger brush to distribute it on my face. I did two passes with the Gillette 195 Fatboy Razor with a Gillette Silver Blue blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave.  I skipped the Proraso Pre-Shave today. I started by just wetting my face with cold water. I used a small dollop of Cremo and attempted to face-lather with the Jayaruh #229 synthetic brush. It does not foam. I did work up what looked like the beginning of a lather, but it disappeared quickly. I was able to continue with just cold water though. I did two passes with the Probak razor and Gillette Silver Blue blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

So, I will keep the Cremo and use it in my Menthol Monday rotation. It wasn't too bad. This tube should last me years considering it will be used only once a month at most.

I have a stomach virus today and I am not feeling well at all. I shaved hoping to feel better. I am not loving the Cremo Shave Cream. It just does not do it for me. I did end up with a pretty good shave, but my other soaps and creams work better for me. I'm glad to be done. Hopefully this will pass soon.

This was my second shave with Cremo Shave Cream and so far, I am unimpressed. It was an OK shave, but not exceptional. The Gillette Aristocrat with the Astra blade were center stage in this two pass shave. I just did not get as close a shave as I thought I should without risking some irritation. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Dickinson's WH and Aqua Velva Ice Blue after shave.

Today was a first shave with the Cremo Shave Cream. It's a brushless cream, so this was a different experience for me. After my face wash with Dove Men's face wash, I rubbed in a dollup of Cremo Cream all over my beard. The Astra Superior Platinum (6) in my '47 Gillette Aristocrat gave me a close comfortable shave after two passes and touch ups. I just re-wet my face between passes. The Cremo did a great job of providing slickness and reducing friction. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Dickinson's WH and Pinaud Clubman after shave.
