Jayaruh #245 Progress

I am doing a collaborative work with one of the Jims at TSD. I made four Louisville Slugger handles, painted one Astros colors, and sent them to Jim for detailing. His job was to make decals for the Astros brush and finish it off for me. He then would have three others to custom make for three other baseball fans using mine as the bait (example).

Jim made stitches for the "baseball" part of the handle.

He made a MLB decal for one side.

He made an Astros decal for the other side.

He finished off the brush with many clear coats, sanding, and polishing. It is looking "fan-tastic."

Jim made a Louisville Slugger bat brush with a natural finish bat and a ball on top.

Busy Day for Jayaruh Brush Handles

I made some ball and bat handles from the Louisville Slugger nubs.

I also made three Celtic knot handles from blanks I had glued up over the course of two days.

This is my latest Louisville Slugger brush. It is set with a 24mm Maggard Black & White synthetic knot. Tbis combination was created by RaZorBurn123 at TSD.

Another Queen

I have started another queen brush. I made this one from a Louisville Slugger stub.

This was the last of the experimental handles I made from the Louisville Slugger stubs. This one I decided to make into a facsimile of a baseball. This would work well as a travel brush. The knot is a synthetic I harvested from another brush.

This Louisville Slugger brush has a different shape to it. It is fitted with a 22mm Maggard synthetic knot.

This Louisville Slugger brush was made for a gentleman who was a NY Mets fan.

I painted what I call a "folk art" logo on the handle.

This brush is a work in progress. It will also be a pattern for future Louisville Slugger brush handles. This one is going to the gentleman who gave me the LS slugs. I have ordered an Omega 98 brush to harvest the knot and put it in this handle. As soon as it arrives, the operation will begin.
