The Derby Menthol Shave Cream was face-lathered well with Jayaruh #4 Two-band Badger Brush. Two Passes and touch ups with the Henson Clone Safety Razor and the Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Tabac After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Today's shave with the Henson Clone was a first shave. For this shave I did use a new Gillette Silver Blue blade. This razor is a mild razor. I don't think there is much chance of drawing blood unless one has very bad form or loads the blade wrong. It does quite a bit of noise like scraping toast. After two passes, there was more clean-up / touch-up than usual. However, I did get a good shave.
