I got this bottle of after shave from Charlie of Kentucky who just visited North Cackalacky with his charming wife, Kathy. Thanks, Charlie. He picked it up at Derby City Chop Shop, a fancy barber shop in Louisville. It is their take on a Bay Rum that they call "Winter Reserve." I will be featuring it in my shaves starting Wednesday.
Update: The splash has a little bite to it and a mellow scent. Also, I am happy to report, the wife approves. The bottle has a cork top and no drizzle opening, so I had to be very careful not to pour out too much. Thanks again, Charlie.
