Marius of NJ asked if I could make a brush for him and use a supplied knot. He sent a brush that arrived yesterday. I harvested the knot, and this morning I have been working on the handle.

He chose the bocote on the right for his brush.

 I didn't do pictures on the lathe. Oops! Sorry. The handle has four flutes around the handle with 16 at the knot.

I sealed it with a golden maple stain/sealer.

I put the number on the bottom and did the first coat of polycrylic.

Update:  The brush is complete.
