I did a test lathering with JR#143 horse hair brush and Soap Commander Renewal. It lathered well, but I lost about 10 hairs. The brush is pretty floppy.
Here it is after it has dried out.

I received two small horse hair knots in a trade recently, and I decided to use one for a new Jayaruh brush. I had made a razor stand last year that I thought would make a nice handle for a small brush. I widened the hole and set the new knot in it to create the new Jayaruh #143 horse hair brush.
