Four Brushes Finished Today

The Virginia Sheng two-band badger knots arrived today, so I was able to complete the #96, #97, and #100 brushes.

Then there is the Jayaruh #102. I glued up the handle last week and cut it out. Today, I decided to make a stubby handle out of it. It was just the right size and color for the Maggard 22mm synthetic knot.

Jayaruh #97

The #97 is made of oak. It has six faces that fit nicely in the hand and taper off to circles on the top and bottom. Pictured below is a dry fit Sunrise synthetic. Final knot to be determined.

Update: I ordered a Virginia Sheng two-band badger for this handle. It is a great match. I set the knot on August 25.

I have completed handles 93-97 except for the knots. They are ready to receive a knot, and then they will be completed.
