Jayaruh #239

I just finished up the Jayaruh #239 by setting it with a 24mm boar knot. Below, dry fitting of the new knot.

New knot set with silicone. This brush will be going to Texas soon. It was adopted by Jim in Mission, Texas.

Jayaruh #239 and 240

Most of the time when I create a brush, I take lots of pictures to document the process. These are not the case. The wood is cypress with purple heart for the Celtic knots. I have two pictures. The first is with the two blanks glued up to make a Celtic knot handle. The second is after I have turned both handles. They are ready to be finished.

Update: November 1

JR #239 dry fit with the beige synthetic and the black and white synthetic.

JR #240 dry fit with the beige synthetic and the black and white synthetic.

I branded the handles and put another coat of polycrylic on them.
