Today, I did my first work with wood since October 4, fall. It was a beautiful day, and I have been progressing very well. I took it easy and slow. I got everything set up and produced these two brush handles from Patagonian Rosewood. They will eventually be #377 and #378. It has not been determined which will be which. The silvertip badger will go in one. I have not determined the other.
These two pictures reflect the two sides of the handles.

Here I have named the two handles as #377 and 378. I have also applied the second coat of polycrylic.

I use the Strand Safety Razor Blade Sharpner to sharpen a Damaskeene blade. Tom White sent me his sharpner to sharpen my blades. This video is the second blade I sharpened.
I put one of the blades in my capless Damaskeene razor with my home made Darwin wooden handle. I will be using this to test out the blade.

When I went to create a video of today's shave, I could not find Window's Movie Maker on my new computer. It turns out they discontinued it. Now, they offer Photos which has movie making capability. I used that, but it was very cumbersome compared to WMM. I searched and found a site that offered a copy of the older program. It is good to have it back again. I have remade the movie using WMM, and here it is below. I am so glad to have it back.
