I was contacted to make a box for an Asylum RX V2 AC razor. Without having the razor on hand, I found a picture of it, and knowing one measurement, I scaled other measurements to make a facsimile of the razor for a stand-in.
It is one month (30 days) until my birthday, but we were visiting The Garage on 25 and just browsing. Before leaving, I asked the lady if they had any vintage shaving brushes, razors, or bowls. She directed me to one shelf, and when I saw it, I said, "Happy birthday to me." It was a Gillette Pocket Edition. I have seen pictures, but I have never seen one in real life. The serial number is C 55923. That means it was made in 1914. So, it is my Dad's birth year razor.

Today, I did the first lathering of Jayaruh #446. The badger/boar knot is set in a birdseye maple handle. I used Van Der Hagen Luxury Soap for the test, and I built the lather in my 3D printed bowl by Roger Quingero.
I completed JR #447 today when I set the Maggard 24mm brown synthetic knot in it.
This is #446 in progress. This handle is made from birdseye maple. I have ordered knots, and they should arrive today, so I should be able to finish it today..
