I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Palmolive Classic Shaving Cream face-lathered well with the B 400 by Tom Badger brush. I did the two passes with the Gem 1902 Lather Catcher and vintage Gem Jr. blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Barbasol AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Jeff's Soap Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #213 Synthetic brush. I did the first pass with the Fredrick Reynolds 5/8. Because it is SEptember, I did the second pass with the Schick G 66 with a Personna Stainless blade. I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Florida Water. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Some New Woods

Sparrow on TSD sent me two pieces of Japanese Horse Chestnut wood to make into brush handles.

Charlie on TSD sent me a box of cut offs from the Louisville Slugger Factory and Museum. I am going to see if I can craft some brush handles from them.

He is also getting out of straight shaving, and he very generously included his Drygulch Leatherworks 2.5" Barber's Strop with Latigo.
