The ISKRA was made in Russia and means spark. It is from the 1980s and seems to be the same razor as an Astra or Schick that I have seen. The Jayaruh #1 is the first brush that I made. I reknotted it with a silvertip badger a while back.
The Virgilio Valobra Shaving Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #1 Silver Tip Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the ISKRA Safety Razor with a Personna Super Blade (59) gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub.
