Case Restore for Kampfe Bros/ Star Razor

I was inspired to restore my case for the Kampfe Bros/Star Razor by Jim over on The Shave Den. He had restored his, and I wanted to do the same for mine. So I probed his mind for some information and jumped in. Here it is before.

The snap is broken.

The inside is not too bad, but the hinge is broken, too.

Here it is after I finished the restore. I just brush cleaned the velvet inside, removed the paper like coating, sanded, and painted the exterior. I also affected a repair for the snap.

I painted the case inside and out with acrylic black paint.

I am very happy with the results.
