Jayaruh #386 Progress New

I am making this Celtic knot brush for a fellow shaver. I neglected to take pictures for the first two cut/glue-up procedures. Today, I took these pictures of the final two cut/glue-ups.

This is the jig I created to make Celtic knots.

This is the first two cut/glue-ups before unclamping.

First two glue-ups.

This is the glue-up after the third cut.

After the fourth cut.

Getting ready for the fourth glue-up.

Glued and ready for clamping
The final clamping.
Later the same day.

Unclamped.

Removed the corners.

I begin to shape the blank.

Off the lathe. Ready to receive the holes for the knot and cross.
Update: 28 Feb 2020

I completed the brush today. I drilled out the holes for the knot and the cross. Then I gave the handle two coats of polycrylic. I finished it by setting the cross and then the knot.
