I could have loaded the brush a little more, but the Col. Conk Bay Rum did the job anyhow. The Semogue brush has backbone, but it is soft on the face. Two passes and touch-ups with the Merkur slant left me clean and smooth. Mighty fine shave. Followed up with Dickinson's WH and Pinaud Clubman. Feeling good.
