I was commissioned by Tom in Asheville to do a brush. He sent me the blank and knot. They arrived today.
Here is the blank.
I found the center on both ends and marked off a circle so I would know how much to cut off the corners.
Blank is on the lathe and ready for turning.

Here it is right off the lathe.
I made the hole. Sorry, no pictures of that. Here is the knot dry fitted.
Now all I need is finishing up. HA!
