I made this box for my birth year Super Speed. It is a 46-47 Super Speed, so I cannot be for certain it is a 47, but that is close enough for me. The sides are walnut and the top and bottom are cedar.
I reinforced the corners with birdseye maple. The next picture is before I cut the box in two.
Next, I split the box in two and made inserts for the inside to hold the razor and a pack of blades.
I put hinges and a clasp on and finished with polycrylic. Then, I finished the inside by lining it with red flannel.
