Jayaruh #41 Begins

I began the #41 brush by cutting the blank down to 1.72 inches in length. I am making another stubby, only stubbier. I got it shaped, sanded, the hole made, and sealed/stained with dark walnut.

Dry fitted with pure badger and staged with GEM 1912 travel razor before polyurethane coat.

Branded with JR 41.

JR #40 on left: JR #41 on the right after polyurethane coat.

Micromatic Clog-pruf added for scale.
The #41 handle is the shave height as the MMCP's head.

I replaced the knot with a Maggard two-band badger for Perry in Alabama. Perry adopted #41 and contacted me to re-knot it.
