While in Travelers Rest, we drove by the old neighborhood and visited with friends. Then, the folks that bought out house came out and we struck up a conversation that led to us getting to tour our old house. Bob had build a huge shop in the backyard, and I asked to see it. He and his son had done all the work themselves with some help from friends. It is about 24x30 feet. Long story short, he ended up giving me his old lathe since he had gotten a new one. He had tried to get rid of the old one for three months. I guess the Lord was saving it for me. It is a Duracraft lathe, made in Tiawan. Now I am going to have to learn all I can so I can turn some shaving brush handles.
