I received this Gillette Tuckaway in the mail today. I believe this is the same razor type that my Dad used for most of his life. Under the head on the base plate I found a serial number: 34247A. It indicates that the razor was made in 1921. It appears to have been plated with silver but is scratched on the cap. Otherwise it is in very good shape.
