Jayaruh #311

I used some walnut from the gun stock I got from a fellow shaver to make this handle. I decided to go for a 400 look. First, I turned the basic shape on my lathe.

Next, I used my drum sander to make the flutes in the handle.

Then I used my drill press to make the hole. I dry fitted an Omega 49 boar knot in the handle.

Then, I dry fitted a beige Maggard synthetic knot.

All that is left is finishing up. I am going to finish it with polycrylic and then decide which knot will be used. I am leaning towards the boar. These pictures are after the first coat.

Jayaruh #311 is complete.
