The Brush - B400 by Tom

This is Tom White's take on the Rubberset 400 shaving brush. He makes it from solid aluminum. 

I had harvested a boar knot from an Omega 49 brush just for this brush. Last night, I did a test lathering with the knot to get it ready to set when the "big ferrule" came in today. Here it is all soaped up and waiting. I let it sit all lathered up for about 30 minutes, and then I rinsed it out and let it dry over night.

Here the knot is all set in silicone. I plan on using it for my shaves over the next week.
