I had a piece of oak that I had cut to length and rounded a while back. Today, I had a shape in mind and set up to find it in this piece of wood. It is a simple shape but very practical. Today, I also ordered some Maggard synthetic knots. If I want to make this a little more fancy, I still have time.

Colonial Maple stain/sealer and one coat of polyurethane.
Update: May 2, 2016
The Maggard 24mm synthetic knot arrived today, and I was able to set it in the handle. The Jayaruh #64 is now complete.
