New to the stable today is a Gillette Slim L3 that I picked up at a yard sale. It had a dispenser of Gillette Super Blue Blades dated X3 (1977). One of those blades was still in the razor.
The razor itself was a little gunky, but looked like it would clean up nicely. I had to scrape a little scum off the bottom to uncover the L3, 1966.

I sprayed the razor with Kaboom and let it set for about five minutes, rinsed it in hot water, and then soaked it in some hot Dawn water for a spell.

I scrubbed it with a tooth brush and rinsed it off. That is all the cleaning it got. It turned out real shiny.
