I had a piece of walnut, and it was calling my name. I went old school with this one. I did all the shaping with a drum sander and my Dremel. Then I used my drill press to create the hole. It is ready for lots of sanding to get it really smooth before I put a finish on it.
Update: November 3, 2016
After final sanding, I finished the handle with three coats of Polyacrylic.
I painted the JR 126 and put a final coat of Polyacrylic on it.
