My Eversharp-Schick G1 arrived today. This model was manufactured from 1946-53. The handle is plastic, the spring is fixed with no flaps, and the bar has parallel grooves. It arrived with the original case (the red case was made from 1950-53) which exhibited some broken and missing edges. Also included was an original blade magazine containing two unused blades. The first five pictures were taken before the razor was cleaned.
After removing the original blade, I cleaned and sanitized the razor. It cleaned up very well. I plan on using it for a week starting January 15.
