A fellow wet shaver on TSD contacted me and wanted a special lid for a wooden bowl he had gotten. I had him send me pictures of the bowl with measurements so I could get started.
He contacted me again and asked if we could do a design on the lid. So he had to decide on a design.
Decided to go with Cowboys' Star. After I cut out the parts, I drew the star lid and then burned in with wood burner.
Stained with dark walnut stain/sealer.
Parts glued together and clamped.
Here it is after one coat of polycrylic.
