Blades in Waiting

I got two magnets and glued them to the inside of my medicine cabinet door. On one I put my current double edge blade, and on the other I put my current single edge blade. I have been removing my blades and cleaning them and drying them after each shave. It is especially important with my SE blades which tend to be carbon steel blades. Otherwise, they would tend to rust.

This has worked out very well.

  1. My blades are air dried, retained by the magnet that I have glued with double-sided tape, to a manual counter, and that serves to control the number of uses I give to the blades (32 uses, with a razor blade Personna Crystal, Israelite).

I have a counter for each sheet.

They are as economical (€ 1) as reliable for use, for me it is the best system.
They are hung on a shelf in the bathroom closet
