Fence Post Razor Stand

I made this stand from wood that came from a fence post that I recycled. After probably 30 years plus as a fence post, I replaced it with a new one. I cut up the old post and this is wood from the original post. I left one edge rustic. These pictures are before I put a finish on the stand.

I made the holes big enough to accommodate my straights, too.

Update: August 24, 2017

I finished the stand with Polycrylic. It provides a nice protective cover and makes the grain pop. In the following pictures my seven day set of straights are featured.
