Jayaruh #4 Handle

Yesterday, I made the hole deeper to accommodate the new knot and did the final sanding and finishing. The knot will be 22/65. Larry suggested a hole 15 mm deep to give the knot a 50 mm loft.

Here is what it looks like now. A nickel has a diameter of 21.21 mm. It easily goes in and out of the hole. I may still have to do a little fitting when the knot arrives. Knot scheduled to arrive tomorrow, Saturday.

March 28 Update

It appears that in two days, the knot has traveled 20 miles. It looks like it finally left Coppell, TX, this morning at 11:01 am. It still has the expected delivery date as today, the 28th, but it will be a miracle if it makes it today. I believe in  miracles, but I do not believe in the USPS.

  1. Looks better every time you post the pictures. Can't wait to see how it turns out. I like the color of the handle.
