The CO Bigelow Shaving Cream face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #182 Synthetic brush. I did the first pass with the Gillette 195 razor and Rockwell Swedish Stainless blade and second/clean up pass with New Improved, and I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Florida Water AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Heldtite  Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Gem 1902 Lather Catcher with a CVS blade, and I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Florida Water AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Lee Mfg. Straight New Scales

I got this blade along with some others. This one was without scales, so I ordered a set from Maggard Razors. Today, they came in and I decided to go ahead and pin them. Below, I have my tools and supplies out and ready to go.

Here I snipped off the end of the pin and filed it flat.

After considerable peening, I turned it over and did the same for the other side.

I worked on getting the pin just tight enough.

This is now the fifth razor for my seven-day case.

Completed the #180 with a silvertip badger sent from the new owner.
